How long is the Texas LTC class?
The state-mandated course is a minimum of 4 to 6 hours of instruction. It covers Texas firearms laws, safe handling, storage, and non-violent dispute resolution, followed by a written exam and shooting proficiency test.
Do I need to own a gun to take the class?
No. We provide handgun rentals for $25 plus $10 ammunition purchase if you do not have your own firearm yet.
Where are the classes held?
We offer regularly scheduled classes in Northwest and Southeast Houston. We also specialize in private group sessions and can conduct training at your office or preferred location across Texas.
What states recognize my Texas LTC?
A Texas LTC is currently recognized in over 30 states. During our course, we also provide info on how to apply for a Florida license, which can further expand your carrying privileges across much of the US.
